What do you see? (Abridged)

This is the shorter version of the message of 28 April at GFC.

It’s meant to provoke us from our inactivity to completing the mission set out for us.

Redeeming the Season

There are parallels between the Genesis of Israel and the Kingdom of God.

The period between Genesis and Exodus mirrors the period between the old and new covenants.

In the fullness of Time Jesus came. His lineage is an expose of the humanity of God’s people while dripping with the Grace of His unconditional love.

He draws the hearts of his children back to the Father.

Take a journey through the finite detail of God’s plan for humanity.

See how Tamar, Rahab and Ruth are woven against all odds into the tapestry of His love.

From Joseph to Joseph and Mary and ultimately Jesus, we see the unfolding of the Christmas event: the incarnation of the Son of God. His ultimate gift to all mankind.

My first Christmas Light

Jesus said; “I am the light of the world.”

He comes to us in our dark places,

He brings revelation of truth and frees us from our captive thoughts.

He reassigns us into His purpose by announcing our brief.

Peter was a fisherman called to be a shepherd.

Jesus wants to change your fisherman thinking into shepherding nurture.

BE-lieve & BE Baptised

The topic is baptism,

The message is immerse,

The problem is not how,

Nor is the criticism why,

Because the Way is through faith,

and in the Lord, Jesus the Christ!

So some to the River.

RE – WordeD

Today we looked at the prefix RE and words that have a Kingdom message through them.

Re means anew, afresh or once more.

We serve a God of New beginnings, fresh starts and once more.

He does not expect perfection from us, and does not love us conditionally.

He died for our sins before we committed any and,

accepts us despite our inability to be consistent.
