Full version: What do you see?

A personal share about call, the tension, struggle and commitment it takes to stay true to our course.

Jeremiah 1

Tear down, destroy, rebuild and plant.

The waste of moving forward and the struggle to let go.

How do we remain on the road mapped out by reflecting on the autheticity of our situation.

Humble Ourselves – Andrew Cyprianos

Andrew Cyprianos takes us on a survey of humility.

Versus from Paslms, Proverbs, the Prophets, the Gospels and Epistles and draws a singular conclusion:

The Lord exhorts the humble and disregards the proud.

A song in my Heart

Join Craig on a survey of worship.

Reflect on the Types of Psalms that speak our hearts.

Come to the place where praise lifts you higher than the mountains obstructing your way.

Redeeming the Season

There are parallels between the Genesis of Israel and the Kingdom of God.

The period between Genesis and Exodus mirrors the period between the old and new covenants.

In the fullness of Time Jesus came. His lineage is an expose of the humanity of God’s people while dripping with the Grace of His unconditional love.

He draws the hearts of his children back to the Father.

Take a journey through the finite detail of God’s plan for humanity.

See how Tamar, Rahab and Ruth are woven against all odds into the tapestry of His love.

From Joseph to Joseph and Mary and ultimately Jesus, we see the unfolding of the Christmas event: the incarnation of the Son of God. His ultimate gift to all mankind.

tHE raDical comBusTion

Holding in tension the Word and Spirit.

We start by reading the Word.

We rethink and contemplate: meditate.

Then we consider the truth.

We need to be inspired to receive revelation.

The Holy Spirit brings to memory what we’ve received.

In a moment of spontaneity, we give it away.

Make me a vessel

Have you ever been through a time of drought?

Have you been encouraged to trust God?

What did he ask you to do?

Did it make sense?

His ways are not our ways, but his way is the way of obedience.

Trust him, he’ll never let you down.

Jacob’s Meals

Have you ever being hungry to the point that you’ll give up everything for a meal.

Jacob was a liar, a deceiver and manipulator, but he was also determined to prize what was given to him.

His father though blind was still able to discern the circumstances.

In reality he prepared two meals for two desperate people.

One desperate for a meal, the other wanting to leave his legacy.

His father understood sacrifice and blessing through obedience, but he was crafty and determined.

The Lord honoured the transaction but it would come at a cost.

The meditation of my heart

The Heavens declare the glory of God.

When we consider him, do we measure up?

He is able to make His grace abundantly bless us.

So we have access as children to approach Him.

No human design can limit that access.

So come and let our meditation and our words bless Him
