God's Plan of Salvation
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life;
whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
1 John 5:11-12
The above passage tells us that God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son, Jesus Christ. In other words, the way to possess eternal life is to possess God’s Son. The question is, how can a person have the Son of God?
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
Isaiah 59:2
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
